The Lodi Girls Soccer varsity team will be using new soccer balls this season. I ordered the balls this morning, and they should be here just in time for the beginning of our season in March. The balls have the school logo and say "Lodi Blue Devils Girls Soccer" on two sides of the ball. Connecting the logos will be a blue, white, and black panel on two sides.The ball is made by American Challenge, and is the Champion model. In 2006, the varsity team at LHS used plain Champion balls as practice and game balls, so the team will be familiar with the feel and play of the balls.
The JV team at LHS will inherit the balls previously used by the varsity team, marking a vast improvement over the Puma balls they previously used. Both the varsity and JV teams will use the new balls for game balls.
